Grants on auto steer kit

Having just bought a used tractor that is auto steer ready but doesn’t have all the electronic gubbins with it I was wondering if there are any grants available at the moment to get it fully up and running?

If you are in Wales there are grants available but they are for guidance not auto steer. But if you get involved with Welsh Government you will be dealing with some of the most ill informed people you will ever meat and they are also too arrogant to be told when they are wrong.

Really? Having had the ‘pleasure’ of dealing with both, I’ve always found the Welsh system to be much more farmer friendly and with more of a willingness to help farmers. I put that down to the fact that a lot of the people working in the Welsh system are actually connected with farming themselves, whereas the English bodies always seem to manage to recruit career civil servants who they then train to start from the assumption that farmers are guilty of something.?

f**k me things must be bad in England then. We had to get our AM involved just to get some simple answers out of them.
