Grass seed setting accord

Just started drilling and area meter is not working , drill is set at 32 due to grass being the last thing to drill in the spring , drilling westerwolds which is different than spring drilled , am I ok for 14kg and acre?

We just drilled Westwolds with our accord 4m- it’s on the slow gear (red gear pulled out) and on 49. If you don’t have an area meter you can turn the meter 34.4 turns to calibrate to 1/10th acre.

Crafty thing with an accord is that the width doesn't matter as the metering chain sorts it out. I am between 25 and 30 on the normal gear. Up here I sowed at 30 on 1st Sept for a generous 16/17kg.

As always, put the smallest known weight you've got in and see how far it goes. I find the area meter spot on.
