Grazing oil seed rape now

Half a field of rape hasn’t floured. This happened last year on another farm and the plant grew to a weed. Would we be as well to fence it off and graze it with sheep now? Will the sheep eat it at the growth stage it’s at now. Or will it be too bitter. Can leave a gate open for grass run back and mains water?

generally not recommended to graze brassicas that are/trying to flower. Its less of a problem if livestock have been on them all winter and they start to flower. dont think its a good time to introduce them to fresh stock
