Grease Nipples?

Does anyone know where I can source some M6 straight thread grease nipples from ...the catch is I need a very short thread length approx 3mm.
They are for threaded turnbuckles so any longer and they will catch on the threads

You cant really shorten the thread or you'll loose the spring and ball. Would that matter on a threaded turnbuckle? A washer under the nipple?

A washer might work. The ones I need to replace are in original condition ie haven't been shortened so I presume they are available somewhere ....

Go on Kramp web site put" M6 grease nipple" in search , 4 mm length, available, and a what looks like just 3 threads length nipple, but are a £1 each

You can get boxes of assorted sizes from amazon and eBay.ive got a boxful on my office desk and never a problem finding a replacement
