Hello all,
I have a few Great Dane/Boerboel puppies for sale. I'm based in South Africa and each puppy costs R2000.00
I myself have kept a few of the pups and they are the most loving and sweetest dogs but grow to be quite big.
They are brilliant guard dogs and farm dogs! I have bred with them for a while and they are all healthy and don't have any health problems when they are older.

In the UK, those dogs would easily be worth £300 all day long...

Yup. Hay customer of mine is South African, was in the police force over there. He told me once about how he got called out to a compound out in the country, owner had gone away leaving the dogs (Boerboels) having the run of the property. There was the remains of a body in the compound, which a passerby had noticed and called the police, an intruder had climbed over the fence and the dogs had killed and half eaten him...............the police just informed the owner what had occurred and removed the remains.........different world!

Caravan Using Nomadic Travellers.

We would have a lot less crime if we were legally entitled to protect our property like in most other countries

I have a friend who grew up in Kenya and he said they will often run yappy terriers with big guard dogs as they miss nothing and will alert the bigger dogs to intruders.

He also said if you call the Police they will just say that they will send a vehicle when one is available, so not much different to the UK
