I’ve Finally stepped out of my little farm hidey hole and ventured into the real world and joined a business network group full of farmers, diversification, rural businesses.... just the people I might want to talk to ( lol)

Plucked up courage and went to one real event in March about tourism And diversification opportunities and then the virus struck
They’ve taken their meetings online which is a bit easier to manage ( ie I don’t have to get changed to attend ). !! but I’ve found it Quite useful Info

the next one is tommorrow and it’s about a couple who diversified making cheese on their farm and they are talking about how they did it etc

one after that’s about planning diversification on farms etc
Take a look. If I have found it helpful I reckon a few of you lot might too

cost £5 a month for a farmer member

Thank you for sharing @curlietailz, it's great to have you in our community :) We have members as far away as the Highlands of Scotland down to Norfolk. The event tomorrow (Thursday 2nd July, 7pm BST) is open to non-members so you can check us out for free. We're a friendly informal bunch who want to support each other to grow our businesses.
