Had the rep on the phone , anyone used it or any of the newer wonder products eg cling-on-blue , just wondered what new options for scald etc in young lambs , we tend to use zinc suphate stand in or formalin walk through , but after using the cubicle powder mentioned on here with good results just seeing whats about, and comparative costs , the green guardian is approx £65 / 5 litres mix 1-50

what about that bio-friendly stuff thats an addative to water - ie friendly bacteria - i cant find the thread now but someone had good results around creep feeders with it.. i would guess its got good footbath qualities too.
pruex ? heard good reports and poor ones , none of these new products seem to have definitive answer , that said even formalin works , until it seals it inside the hoof then back to square one in 2 weeks lol

there was a vets webinar a few weeks back that showed footbaths didnt do much - ie did a great kill for 24 hrs but hoof bacteria was back even with clean ground. - weve not footbathed for years but i got some shelly hoof style weakly formed lamb hoofs last year so am looking hard at it again.

Treat the 1/2 dozen individually , mark them as culls and reduce the incidence of scald in future generations
Works here and should be a given for any seller of breeding stock?
