Green star and vicon isobus.

I have just purchased a vicon geospread with a tellus box and I am struggling to pick up a gps signal on the tellus box when plugged into the isobus connectors on the side pillars of a JD 6190R. I have a 2630 display running mobile RTK but want to do the section control with the tellus box as this has a licence and the 2630 does not. Thanks.

You need to nmea cable from Starfire to Kv box to get it a GPS signal
Speak to Trevor or chris at Tag I'm sure they will help

Thanks I have spoken to Chris today but he was out of the office so wasn't sure but I will speak to him again tomorrow. I was just seeing if anyone had any info on here as I didn't know if the problem or cables were on the JD side or vicon. So the two boxes need to be connected to each other and not just to the tractor via the 9 pin socket.

Ok, I have that cable I think as we also set it up on a non isobus ready 6930 which we managed to get a gps signal from an ITC receiver, but can't get a signal from the SF 3000 receiver. I did make some changes in the greenstar setup with Chris over the phone but with no joy yet, i will have another go tomorrow with more luck hopefully.

If you have the Jd cable and using in the opposite plugs to itc you will find that it's only wired one way for nmea

Pins 3 and 10 should have wires in tha going to Starfire plug
