Sad news about the death of Alasdair Houston , farmer , businessman & owner of the Gretna herds of pedigree cattle who I'm sure many of TFF members will have seen and spoken to at pedigree bull sales not particularly old either RIP

I've had the pleasure of knowing Alasdair and have done business with him a few times, a true gentleman and his passing will be a huge loss to many.

Inspirational man with a great sense of humour and fun, what he achieved is remarkable. I will miss him and so will many, many others. He had time for everyone regardless of their stature, wealth or ability. A true gentleman.
