Grimme gt 170 car elevator bearing

cart elevator on grimme GT 170 has a bearing that stops the cart elevator running back when full can only find geniune which cost s £450 for 35 mm bearing can

as pics shows bearing not holding so cart elevator wont hold when full looking for non genuine bearing

trouble with anything made by Grimme ,,everything is over engineered .

Does it have to have a key way ,could you use a allen key locking collar

Have you tried a local bearing supplier.

Might be able to supply the bearing and have an engineering firm put the keyway in.

I have forgotten the name of that bearing, but we used to get them from Hayleys group when I used to run carrot harvesters. I think it was just called a one way bearing ??

Can anyone explain how this works as when using it in reverse for whin rowing it would need to turn the other way ??
