We have just had notice our supplier is increasing by about 25% with immediate effect.
Anybody in Midlands?
TIA

Demand is pushing up timber products through the range and it won't stop. The straw effect has started
Just had full load of G50 wood chip at same price as previous load in May (£95/t)
We had a load that I tested at 40, when I told the supplier that I wanted £18 quid off he shook my hand so quickly I know it should have been more
Get what you can while you can cos the price is going up and demand is now massive. I think that both industrial pellets and virgin whole tree chip will soon be up towards the price of white chip and pellets, especially for larger boilers over 500kw.
Pull out the mothballs fast!! Verdo Euro are now over £300/t!! Seems to be a national shortage, most suppliers are out of stock of wood pellets today!! I wish I filled my shed with pellets not wheat. They are up 50% on what I paid in September! When it gets beyond £250 per tonne my pellet plant will come out of mothballs.
I think is between 6 and 8p/kWhIf it were 250/t, what would that be per KWh, roughly for pellets
About 5.1p/kwhIf it were 250/t, what would that be per KWh, roughly for pellets
