guttler question

the taca stuff or the tuffcote

i sold my tine drill and have gone back to a triple disc at times tine would be better just brought a big set of harrows so will spray let it die back few weeks before next spray harrow the hell out if it to rough it up also try and get seed /weed strike then spray drill

What the feck you mentioning that word  in the same sentence...........no feckin comparison

Yes still doing tungsten coating (TAKA ;)) & I would put ours up against anything you have to compare, tungsten tiles ARE good but as stated, prone to breaking, tungsten coating far LESS LIKELY to suffer same issue

Would love to do a Guttler, I'm sure I could enhance it's life.............by about 5 fold, or more (y) would even do ONE fer free to compare

combineguy, what are you using to coat yours ? be interested to know  have you done discs b4 ?

First time doing them, mainly for traction. Only every third scallop

Normal mig wire and a dispenser which drops bits of tungsten into the weld.

Will post some pics when it is done
