Not sure if this is the right place to post this but just wondered if anyone else is having trouble getting payment from Hampshire Hay & Straw
They agreed to buy the standing grass in our field and cut baled and cleared it at the end of July and here we are mid November still chasing payment

There probably struggling to sell it due too demand being so low and can’t afford to pay you... life lesson don’t sell standing crops without payment before hand

It’s worth selling standing crops via an auctioneer because the buyer has to pay when the hammer goes down. I know you’ve got the auctioneers fee but your money is safe. If the cheque gets rejected the day after the sale, there is no sale!
