Hampton metal strainers

Has anyone used Hampton metal strainer posts and if so how well do they compare with the Clipex ones? Would they hold on wet ground?

I really rate the Clipex products but I always weld on extra breast plates onto the strainers. Definitely a bit over the top but strainers are the most important part of a fence. They have also doubled the thickness of the wire they use on the strainers. If it is really wet I also increase the size of the pressure plate at the end of the strut.

I've seen a guys cow impaled by the guts on a home made scaffold pole feed barrier.

They hold well in dry ground like in Oz where they come from.
Doing what @HarryB97 does would be well worth the effort for wet ground.

I think I'll give some a go. Clipex ones aren't in stock for 4-6 weeks so will try the Hampton ones.

Considering 99% of feed barriers are made of round tube sounds like he made a mess of making them!

Never had to yet cut in half they quite long , they go in well with post driver and very strong . Look smart as gate posts as well.
