when and how was that planted?
Why can't it be grazed? I've grazed a similar mix with swaledale and they ate most of it. Linseed was leaf stripped but stems left and phacaleia was grazed to stems and trampled. Holds condition well and 4ac at 60cm height in Sept held 120ewes till end of Nov that year. Abit loose behind due to the buckwheat and once thst was eaten muck firmed up.20 kg/ha broadcast into a standing wheat crop in late July with a pneumatic fertiliser spreader. Combined 4 days later & straw chopped, leaving a longish stubble. 10mm rain a week later. That's all. Where I had a longer gap between broadcasting and combining the establishment was far lower at around 50%. Still a nice cover but nothing like as thick as this one.
Nice cover @Brisel . How do you get rid of it ?
