Depends on how much sun we get, massive amount of straw so still green in the bottom, 14 days I reckon atleastAbout 10 days away?
We're still aiming at 10th July.2nd week of July looking how things are going off here.
Hybrid Rye for AD was all done here today .Probably start whole-crop rye in the next 10 days, winter barley at least 2-3 weeks off depending on if it comes hot again.
Started cut winter barley on the 30th of June back in 2018 but won’t be that early this year thankfully.
There will be people with itchy fingers Norfolk show week !!2nd week of July looking how things are going off here.
Combine rolling on outskirts of Bath last evening , Winter barley looked like .
Same here, but probably at least 10 days to a couple of weeks off winter barley every though it look ready.W.Barley is necking over up this way, tramlines are still green mind!

Have you seen any ryegrass in the wheat? Some places they have it like we have blackgrass!!!just seen the first combine going in ripe wheat and most barley harvested and straw baled. mindst im on a train in northern italy scorchio here .Interesting that some fields are absolutely flat and green growing through but the one next door is stood as bold as a sentry reckon some have and some havnt used shortener/stffener
