Probably start whole-crop rye in the next 10 days, winter barley at least 2-3 weeks off depending on if it comes hot again.
Started cut winter barley on the 30th of June back in 2018 but won’t be that early this year thankfully.
Hybrid Rye for AD was all done here today .
3 days earlier than last year and I was informed it was yielding well at 35%DM.

Some winter barley with heads well over and looking a lovely colour this morning, Bedford way. Tramlines still green. Didn’t look like it would take a thunderstorm too well.
