Good Afternoon all,
If anyone in the direct drilling community is interested I am offering a 'Harvest Special' contracting service across Kent and Sussex however I would considering further afield depending on the size of the work.
In short, labour is expensive, espically at harvest time and very often an employee cannot be justified on smaller systems to simply cultivate or prepare fields for the following crop. We are therefore offering our stubble raking service for the harvest period to quickly and efficently create stale seedbeds, we have a subsoiler with covering discs to eradicate tramlines and can offer a harvest spraying option as well. The stubble raking service works best right behind the combine and very often, considering we may have a funny harvest weather wise, this stale seedbed pass gets missed or delayed.
We can also seed cover crops and catch crops with the broadcasting system on the stubble rake or alternatively if you prefer these can be seeded with the Zero tillage drilling system. We can also seed OSR both ways and offer a companion cropping option though the drill with the split stage hopper.
If you are interested and would like to know more please don't hesitate to message me or visit the website http://www.fmeagri.co.uk/ for more information.
I am trying my hardest to get organised and have an idea of the area and locations that need covering so if you are interested please book in early to ensure we get to you.
Thankyou for your time,
Kind regards
David
