Spring wheat presumably ?

It was winter wheat
But it was sown very very late in the spring and it didn’t grow with the drought then it grew a bit then grew secondaries and it stayed green forever
It was virtually written off but a nice little window of opportunity has yielded another 30 or so ton in the shed

Very much doubt you wanted a baler running around now?.. luckily my linseed chopped ok a few weeks ago.

Did you need to chop it,surely it just needed spreading?

Finished contract beans, just need to get redrilled with a 12t crop of first wheat to give us a chance of doing any good the beans, in their own right, probably won't cover costs

Surprisingly 22 - 23% only 2t/ha
