Harvest/Yields 2020

How shite? Last year the ones not shook out were 37kg.

37-41 was the range got the results when I was leaving the yard so not looked properly. We were ok last year and a run through the opico got them to spec. But ours were flat last year and didn't shed in the wind and yielded the best weve grown .

Tbf I think if I didn't have as many oates I'd have had some fallow. 95% of our farm is spring crops this harvest and I didn't buy or dress a seed.

Ouch that is sh!t. I'm surprised the current oat price isn't better tbh. This has been the first year sp barley has beaten oats on this farm, for yield or profit (aka less loss).

Safer to be following him than meeting him!!!!

God help anyone who either drives towards him 2 foot from the bank with the attitude of "a tractor can get over, Im in a car and have right of way" (normally BMW or Audi drivers) or anyone who fails to pull into a passing place and keeps coming towards him.

The red mist descends and he plays his game of let's see if we can get a rizla between your mirror and my front wheel!!!!!🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Can we get back onto topic please ,
Already posted all our yields, compared to last year (see above).

Not finished Spring Oats (didn't have any last year) but still yielding about double what we had the last time we did (1976).

In fact, recent gales seem to have blown out about the same as what we actually harvested that time.

:D :D
