Hoping to move to another farm to finish wheat tomorrow, not looking forward to it as there is a lot shed on the floor. Then onto OSR drilling but fear it may be too wet after the deluge that is August.Wet straw in swaths also a hindrance.

Finally made a start , 12 acres of continious wheat . Jb Diego 21 22 % moisture nice bold grain no idea what yield but 4 full trailers and 2 bins in the last
Depending on how its weighing it should finish up around 3 and a half ton dried . Hopefully tomorrow will stay fine and get another field or 2 cut and straw baled .

Been to look at the last field of barley, the ground is very wet wont travel very well, the grain gas started to shoot and at 3 o'clock the moisture was still 23.5% these been bugger all dry out today and I can now feel dampness in the air so I cant see it going tomorrow unless we get a few hours of good sun.

On the plus side the barley is still standing reasonable well and isnt on the ground yet, its breckled to become a blanket 10 inches from the ground which will combine nicely of it ever dries up.
