The brakes on my MF203 are scarily good. got to be gentle when no load or you are over the steering wheel!

Aparrently they are crap, but they are excellent as long as properly maintained

Yes but they are disc brakes albeit dry.

All my T20's that I have done up would lock the wheels if you wanted, never had an issue stopping them and that's with a combination of new and used shoes although the tractor with new shoes is slightly better.

I have yet to see a 35/135 with brakes in working order that didn't lock the wheels

Trouble being, the one I use all the time at ploughing matches "squeaks" it's way around unless I give it a good blast with the right hand brake firmly down, will get it sorted when I have time!
