Tbf the weather is ok at the mo , forecast was shite , suspect the models they use are totally out of order .
Cover all bases means nothing
Met office are the worst imo
I think forecasts are generally a lot more accurate than 40 years ago but i am fed up with the continual mention of Global warming/ climate change every time the temperature is marginally above average.
Automated Met Office forecasts are rubbish ,got to read the text. BBC which use MeteoGroup i find more accurate.

Can't be arsed , neither are they .
Yesterday the knob from the met office said if it's dry with you today it might be tomorrow , wtf is that ........
That is a forecast. I have farmed in the the same location for 50 years so i have a good idea what it will do tomorrow , I use a book called Instant Weather Forecasting. It is vey good and will show you the signc to look out for but as it is the weather it is not infallible.

Yes!! i'm getting pee'd off with global warming being blamed, back at the end of April the above average amount of rainfall in March and April was being blamed by gw. Yet
all that rain has filled up the underground Aquifers in the SE of England, so there should be no need for a hosepipe ban this summer - and if there is, guess what's to blame.

Apparently it’s been the warmest spring on record.
Proof of the 'lies, damn lies and statistics' adage. The reason its been 'hotter' is because overnight temperatures have been quite a lot higher. So even though the daytime maximum temperatures have been not that good, poor even, the fact there haven't been cold nights has lifted the average temperature considerably.

I was in the workshop with the wireless on, there was some MP saying that Britain was lucky having a Met Office that gave such a good accurate service. I was only in the workshop as it had rained for the last two hours, despite the forecast promising a dry, sunny day. :(
