Have you seen this man?

Early this morning (late last night in Canada) two Farming Forumers rumbled a plot by a Chinese hen house manufacturer to flood the forum with his inferior hen houses.

The two forum members, who wish to remain anonymous were having a heated discussion over the size of wheels/women and transvestites in the thread when it suddenly disappeared.

Luckily @Blaithin took a screen shot as our suspicion had already been aroused by the profile of the man, who's picture.... was that of a woman:nailbiting:

hopefully... once she's done her good deeds for the day, she will come in and post the screen shot. (Otherwise I'll look a right tit having posted this)

Yes @Blaithin is correct it was deleted as spam, unfortunately the way the forum software works when a spammer posts something, and then members reply to that OP only the spammer receive a notification to say the thread has been deleted.
If members suspect spam, it is better not to reply to the spammer, but to report it, and then they will also get a notification to say, Thanks for report, x y or z action has been taken.

This is also why we very very rarely delete Opening threads at members request, not because we are being awkward, but, because it makes it very confusing for members who have posted on that thread for them to know they made a post, and then suddenly, their post no longer exists and it would as you can imagine be extremely time consuming to then have to pm every member to explain why there one post had disappeared.

It is a different kettle of fish, if a post contained within a thread is deleted, then correct procedure is to notify the member why that individual post has been deleted, or, if it is several posts within a thread, members may get a more generic and non individual notification. I do know this does not always apply, I can only say how it should be.

Hope this helps explain.
