Hi all, just in the middle of sorting a new energy contract out
Went through the nfu energy team to see what they can come up with,
Haven power came out on top with sse second
Rates are : 15.27 day 11.89 night 7.30 standing charge for haven
15.76 day 11.07 night 53.00 standing charge

Anyone had any experience with haven power?

My domestic supply has been withHaven for the last two years and just been renewed at similar rates to yours, have had no issues except I have been charged 20% VAT ( domestic should be five) . I did not notice till recently and waiting the repayment. Otherwise no issues except The changeover took forever with possibly 10 meter readings. This meant we had no invoice for 15 months or so. For some that could be a bit of a shock.

I went through the online forms with NFU twice and heard nothing back from them after the initial "Thank you for your details, we'll be in touch soon."

Same here, I sent the forms off twice several months ago, but have heard nothing since.

+2 we tried the same. Not sure if we ever had a response, if we did there was already another contract in place by that point anyway.

@William26 We're with Haven via a different broker; we had a few account issues at the outset but apart from that it's been pain free (as pain free as an electricity bill can ever be) so far. Just check and re-check the paperwork when it arrives, including the rate that they have promised you as that was where our error was..

As it has started raining, I thought I would try NFU Energy again so just gave them a call, but the message said the office was closed.

I finally got through on the phone and they were very helpful, but it seems that some of the mail gets lost in the system at NFU HQ.

I just signed with Haven through NFU, was really easy and prices were competitive!

Just out of interest for a 300 cow dairy unit what should the average consumption be?

We were with Haven via a buying group and weren't happy with them, irrespective of price. Bill had the wrong address on it although it was for our MPAN, and we also had a phone calls from them about changes to our contract when we were in a 2 year fixed term. We have left them.
