Done it as well, called it the 24 hour hay! Cut in morning, turned straight away, tuned next morning and rowed up and baled at dinner time, mainly Timothy grass and field on a bank .

Be carefull of hay that you make fast might not be as dry as you think on the inside .
More crap hay made in very hot times than say in the normal temps and more shed fires as well.

We cut some sunday and only made half into small bale haylage today at 29%, rest will be hay probably tomorrow pm and we have had baking sunshine and wind - I thought that was quick!

Friend did second cut on young Rye grass on sat afternoon. Did 600 small bales tonight on three trailers and two lots have collapsed and fallen off already and the bales are warm when you shove your hand in! His right hand lad said it wasn't fit to Bale. And 100 already been delivered to horse customer and shut up in her shed!! Considering it's forecast fine till Saturday, there should have been plenty of time to make some lovely hay. such a waste of time and effort. Will now get fed to the cows instead.

I caught like that years ago with some late May hay. It literally fell of the trailer over night. I guess second cut now would be similar.
