Haymaking 2023

I know it's very early still, but looks like my neighbour is making a bit of hay on a small field that he lets people camp on.

Couple of others seem to be underway with haylage.

I've just been and mowed 8 acres that is going to be haylage for a chap this evening.

It will be at least 10 days away that I start haylage and probably no hay until July due to cutting dates.

Has anyone else made a start or seen any about?

Bought 160 round bale haylage so far this week. Some made last Friday proper haylage. Stuff made today a drier haylage but never a wrapped hay. Mowing half our haylage hopefully early next week. Hadn’t planned on mowing until the weekend after but weather too good to miss. 900 bale first cut haylage expected.
