Head fly

What do people put on tups heads to keep the fly’s off, seem quite bad just now on our stock rams. Tups had click a couple of weeks back. Just spot-on maybe?
Cheers

I've heard that spot on works for head fly. We just use a dose of crovect on our rams but don't have a head fly problem unless one has been fighting.

We are getting serious problems with biting flies bothering rams and ewes (particularly theaves). They are creating some big wounds all over their body. Anyone else suffer with this? What can be done?

Crovect has a label recc iirc, but I never found it particularly effective. I have problems with the Charollais sheep in certain fields (with trees round streams) to the extent that young ewes will run round all day try to shake them off in a hot/humid time.:(

1ml of Spot-On (or cheaper generics these days) on the poll sorts it immediately for 4 weeks at a time, ime.?
