After min tilling for a number of years and now into the first full year of strip tilling I was wondering how people improve yields on headlands which can significantly pull average field yields.
Go arse about face and drill headlands last. Firstly any straw issues are most likely to be on the headland and running over them tends to make drilling through a bit easier and of course you are not panning what is already drilled.
