Could you explain what do you expect from headland waylines? Waylines around the field or something else?

on a trimble system you drive around the outside of your field tell it 6 headland breaths which come up so you can auto steer the inner headland breaths

The AGCO system is designed by AGCO, they buy only the GPS receiver part from Trimble or Novatel, the screen and controller is all done by AGCO so i am not sure it has these features

I have not seen the Smart Touch manual but assuming it is similar to the Fendt VarioGuide, you can only define an indicator line at a specific distance from the field border. Headland waylines would need to be saved independently from the waylines of the internal field waylines (AFAIK).

Have you got the smart touch screen all working, colouring in where you have been and steering ok? Also have you got the profiles update so you can save different machines settings?

thanks headland waylines are not showing but are so auto steering ok needs latest software update which will be done soon

I was told today by my local Valtra chap that this capability will be available on Smarttouch console in September as a software update.

I am having auto guide problems also, it won’t map field with the width of implement also no shading and the wayline is not in midddle of tractor.

Glad I found this topic. We got our t234 direct last week and I was getting used to the GPS on it this afternoon. Any more updated information on when you’ll be able to do headlands with the GPS?
