I’m self employed and do quite an it of relief milking as well as general farm work , just wondering if any one has any ideas as to which insurance options would be my best option??

Hi Henry,

You would most likely need liability insurance to cover you for the relief milking and any other adhoc agri contracting work that you conduct.

Public Liability covers you for any third party property damage or third party injury.

The insurance is calculated based on your turnover and activities conducted.

You could also consider Personal Accident and Sickness cover if you are off work due to injury/illness and cant obtain your income.

If you mean loss of earnings? depends on current health, age (assume young) and the level of cover you require. Its pretty cheap. Other option is to put money in ISA - good for paying tax too. If you mean Bupa then that depends on current health.
