I have been offered a contract to grow some HEAR rape, the price seems quite attractive but I'm sure there are lots of downsides (growing cost, yield etc). Is it worth me looking at it any further?

I grow about 70 acres of Expower at the moment yields have been about 1.3t/ac in the last couple of years

HEAR crops aroud here have done ok in the past. Palmedor was the highest yielding variety for a neighbour in 2011 - more than his standard 00 types.

Pigeons are allegedly less likely to graze it, or at least leave it until last...
