Heat detection system for sucklers

Hi, I'm thinking of applying for a 40 % grant from the countryside productivity scheme for a heat detection system for my suckler herd. I have 40 cows, housed from Nov - march approx. currently I hire a bull in every year but would like to try ai. Any advice on systems etc would be appreciated.

Stick with a bull unless you have a lot of spare time to kill and have no life.
