Primary coil will be a sealed system -no scale .Was thinking of installing but my water has lime not too bad would it cause problems in a heat recovery unit thanks
Mines been in 4-5 years now and don't seem to have a problem. Our water is ridiculously hard and sludges up the main tank even with a softener. However I think because the heat recovery tank only gets to 50 the scale drop out is far less. Was thinking of installing but my water has lime not too bad would it cause problems in a heat recovery unit thanks
Ive noticed this with house shower header tank full of limescale even though no heating while shower electric is 10 yrs plus no problemsPrimary coil will be a sealed system -no scale .

Had u problems without using these do u find the heat exchanger a good jobWater softener is not cost effective, look for Siliphos or Combiphos, keeps our heat exchangers clear, only needs a 6 monthly cheap top up.
We use a few Nordic Tec plate heat exchangers for hot water https://nordictec-store.com/gb/59-phe-plate-heat-exchangers and find that without Siliphos they are blocked in a few months, otherwise do an excellent job.Had u problems without using these do u find the heat exchanger a good job
Don't know, bad lime here so fitted £500 water softener (works on salt tabs). Was thinking of installing but my water has lime not too bad would it cause problems in a heat recovery unit thanks
