Heat timing after sponges

Using sponges and PMSG on half a dozen ewes here for the first time. Sponges out and jagged about 11am on Thursday. Two groups of 3 with a raddled tup each.

First group were tupped approx lunchtime yesterday, 4pm yesterday and through the night.

One of the other group was raddled mid-afternoon but no sign of anything with other 2. How long can it take? Am I too late to try swapping tups?

36-48 hours would be ‘normal’, but a few might be slightly early and a few slightly later. Don’t panic yet, but it might be worth taking out the ewes that are already covered. Some ewes will hog the ram and stop him serving the others, and some rams can repeatedly serve a ‘favourite’ ewe.

Thanks Neil. He doesn't seem bothered about any of them at the moment but was keen enough on the one yesterday afternoon. I'm only trying to breed a few for my own use so it's not a massive deal if they return but trying to make as good a job of them as I can.
