Nothing new having hot weather end of August into September.Always like the term heatwave !Used to be a nice spell of weather !like everything in media now OTT!

Wasn't it only a month or so ago that everyone was complaining about how hot & dry it was & what a disaster it was ?
I remember when I was living in the UK & it snowed, closing roads & generally throwing the country into disarray. One of the blokes I was working with ( English ) said that the problem with the English is they act as if they live in a mild stable climate, when in reality it is highly variable, but they are then surprised when it snows, rains, doesn't rain, is hot, is cold etc etc

We never complain about the heat or dry.

Yup. With about half our average yearly rain we are making record crops. The prediction of London being as hot as Barcelona by 2050 can't come too soon.

heavy rain here leading up to a 5 day window - ground is so waterlogged i don't think its going to be possible to get any grass machinery on to it. Theres not been 4 dry days in a row for the last 2 months here
