Hedge cutter rebuild

Can anyone help? I’m adding a break back ram to the machine and looking for help in plumbing it in,bought a pressure relief valve. Was going to just plumb it into the tractor spool but would have to be constant pumping and scared of it heating the oils.
Seen a Mcconnel plumbed in to the lift ram circuit, but my worry is if it breaks back the lift circuit would loose pressure!

Set it up like hydraulic plough break back. Pressurise the system from the tractor to a predefined (calculated) value and have accumulators to absorb the movement.

its plumbed into the lift ram circuit on the lift side. If you hit something the bonus is that it lifts the arm over the obstacle. no pressure vessel or valve needed.

That’s how my old Bomford worked, but couldn’t remember how it was plumbed in,the return side of the ram went to a T in the lift circuit, but don’t know where it got the pressure from to bring it back
