Cross compliance no longer exists so presumably we’re no longer obliged to stop hedge cutting at the end of Feb?

Just the legal obligation to make sure that we aren’t disturbing any nesting birds?

just checking, now that cross compliance has ended, we can cut hedges at anytime of year so long as we check for nesting birds and havent signed up for hrw2? also when planting spring crops i can plough as tight to the hedge as i want?

Depends if you can do some where the rain is blowing on your other window else it's a waste of time ...
