That’s as much to do with the operator as the hedge cutterThanks for the info Farmer
I had a look at this model (neighbours) is with elec with knob control, can't see float function,
find it don't do a tidy job top of hedge tails left I see some farmers hedges are shaved and level tidy I know flails got to be sharp.
Tops need 2 passes if you want them to look the partThanks for the info Farmer

Or chuck the T fails in the scrap and fit competition flails
It’s better with two (cleaner finish and more level)You get a good enough finish with one run with competition?
Not recommended because it is a structural part of the head, no problem lifting it up though. And if you want a good finish on top of a hedge remove the roller
Nick...
I’ll disagree with you there although I know plenty of people who ditch the roller I can do it just as good with the roller and I don’t have to worry about rotorvating while doing the banks and verges. And if you want a good finish on top of a hedge remove the roller

Joe turner told me the sameNot recommended because it is a structural part of the head, no problem lifting it up though.
I’d never considered that, thank you.will fold up in futureNot recommended because it is a structural part of the head, no problem lifting it up though.
1 run in a field is fine,2 quick runs on roadsidesYou get a good enough finish with one run with competition?
