what sort of hedge trimmer is M/Connel trimmer Power Arm 5360 good,,average,
or excellent?

Very good hedge cutter just make sure it isn’t specced on individual cable controls. And check it has float function for verge sides.

I had a look at this model (neighbours) is with elec with knob control, can't see float function,
find it don't do a tidy job top of hedge tails left I see some farmers hedges are shaved and level tidy I know flails got to be sharp.

That’s as much to do with the operator as the hedge cutter

Used to double cut each run on the top of a road side hedge to have it looking spot on................................................................... down the farm one might not need to be so picky .............................................................

Tops need 2 passes if you want them to look the part

I’ll disagree with you there although I know plenty of people who ditch the roller I can do it just as good with the roller and I don’t have to worry about rotorvating while doing the banks and verges.
Each to their own though

I'm not sure the rollers are that structural if free pivoting with a ram to raise and lower, rather than bolted in one position.
