Heifers walking through cubicles

Hi my outdoor cubicles are finished. I put the dairy heifers I bought on them and some have crept through the cubicles.
I was going to put a line of steel wire in the middle of the gap in the cubicles. Is that ok, need to Keep costs low.

Absolutely. much kinder on the animal if there is an issue. We use them to great effect.

I’ve got double ratchet straps up my head to head cubicles,weave them in between the posts ! Need double really for heifers or they try go under or over them

We used old crane cable, threaded it through 3/4 inch blue water pipe, no problem with the cattle.

The ratchet strap provided by Wilson Agri didn’t last five minutes on my head to heads.? the reason was the brackets supplied were useless as the edges were sharp.
