Help sealing bottom of a feed bin

As you can see in the picture I've the sealed the gap with some decent silicone stuff but after few weeks it's come away from the bin and rain water has got in again which blocks the auger. Any idea what I could seal it with?

I was also going suggest flashbanding. It's worked a treat on my pickup bed.

can get it upto 450mm wide

+1 for Sikkaflex but cleanliness is important.

I use . I think it s called p u tiger adhesive . For alsorts
Black sticky gue in a mastic tube I highly rate it
People use it to stick car windscreens in.
Don't get it on ur fingers .

A thought is the tin flexing with the weight change
In which case I think ur wasting your time mate . New bottom required

Fibreglass? Put few layers on.

you can get a rubber roofing membrane,about 8mm thick ,use corrsect adhesive sticks to anything,it will still move about so should hold

Fibreglass works well, I patched this up earlier in the year and it's doing ok.

This was before I started but I didn't get any pics of the completed repair unfortunately.
