Help with weed seed id please

Hello,

Does anyone recognise the dark green seeds in this picture please? They have unexpectedly ended up in a consignment of rye I grew.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Ha - not that colour. Those seeds are a very vivid green though.

Why not germinate a couple, the leaf may give more of a clue.

They do look a bit like treated seed Either that or you have some very exotic weeds!

They look like marijuana seeds with a green coat. Was it a special mix you bought? ?

Just to conclude this story (and thanks for all the useful suggestions everyone...), they turned out to be phacelia seeds that had a coating on them. Not a product I have ever used, so it remains a mystery where they came from, but all was well in the end.
