Grew it 20 years ago on probably too heavy a land.
Had a good crop but the retting process in field took us to plenty late enough for baling.
Transport to somewhere north of London for processing.

Home office licence, bales to prevent it being seen from road, forager with belly plate removed.

I've not grown it myself but have seen a few try it locally in the early days of Hemcore (Harlow Ag Merchants).

If for fibre It's tricky to get it retted then baled and dried, very weather dependent.

Used to grow it for hemcore. Would grow again if I could find a reliable outlet, loved growing it cheap to grow, few pests, good soil conditioner, excellent break crop. Loads of potential as a crop just needs some good processors.

When I planted it, it was being grown for the seed, for oil etc

no security, no licenses, police not very interested in it
