Anyone using the pro version? Thoughts please if you are

Currently using pen and paper plus excel for weights.

We are beef finishers buying in 200 head a year. Thought this might help me keep things up to date.

My brother uses it for his pedigree herd and speaks highly of it.

Think I may have to part with £100 to try it for a year. Can't do much with the free version even to try it out.

I’m going to sign up. A mate of mine nr Limerick uses it, and rates it highly!

What cost is Herdwatch? Currently using the Moocall app which is free. It’s ok but has one or two annoying problems- it can lose calves once they hit 12mths old, particularly bull calves, so I can’t record weights. I think it’s because it’s a breeding app, and so doesn’t like having records for beef animals. Moocall also won’t record medicine records. Whereas I assume Herdwatch will manage both fine?

First year using herd watch for us, easy to manage when it's kept up to date. Good for AI records as helps to remind you which cows are due to be bulling ect, all on your phone in the field. @Whitepeak simple to record medicines haven't done much in regards to recording weights, but from what I gather its just a case of entering them in on the selected animal also giving you regular DLWG's.
