Hesston 4750 or 4755

Wanted - Hesston 4750 or 4755 baler. Call/text 07872916363 or message me.
Our 4755 is being serviced as we speak.. 1999 done 110000 bales but was fully overhauled when I bought it at 100000 bales and we spare no expense on servicing etc..
We put complete new plunger in it 3 seasons ago..
Baled 2500 silage hay straw last yr never missed beat..
Guy who looks after it is ex big bale fitter of 25 yrs and no's those balers inside out..
Toying with idea selling it for MF 186
If I were to sell it would be £14000
It's not your usual rubbish and would give a 250 bale warranty for piece mind..
Big bale give a 1000 bale warranty sometimes but they have access to far cheaper parts than I do..
As I say would be fully serviced and ready to roll.
Forgot to say. Knotters stack had several new parts this time last yr as had lump wood go through and bent a needle and damaged knotter.
So insurance coughed up around £3500 for bit more work than was really needed.
Baled without a miss tie till I baled some linseed straw then started missing the odd bale.
Fitter said linseed causes knotter probs at best time but twine disc was slightly seized (common fault as no greaser) so now rectified..

Are the earlier 4750 okay? Whats the difference between a 4750 and 4755 apart from the age gap?
Big diff in packer/stuffer area.
4755 more metal around that area.
Remember my cousin had a 4750 when it wasn't that old and had numerous stuffer and packer failures as he baled lot silage at time.
I've been told by my baler man that they were never designed to bale wet grass only hay and straw.
Some late 4750's were re stickerd as a 4755 and the extra long hand rail on top was added as that's only visible diff if you don't no what your looking for.
Quite unbelievable that major baler dealers did this at time.

What are you gonna be baleing in the main???
We bought a NH 654 round baler last yr to bale silage instead of using the 4755 as 500 bales wet grass is equivelant 2000 bales hay or dry straw.
Puts hell lot stress on those balers even with the beefed up stuffer etc balein silage..

Big bale north have 4750 1996 I think at 10k
Which will prob come serviced no warranty at all.
Makes mine look about right price.

What ever you buy make sure you check the plunger thoroughly for welds and cracks..
Crawl up back chamber and have good look.
I didn't and cost thick end £3500

That would be 250kg each. I can get 230kg in my fixed chamber round baler. But advantage being squares stack in shed better. I used to be a round bale man becausw I could roll them around the shed. But now I've bought a chopper I can see advantages of squares.......

According to a contractor around these parts you need 250hp minimum to pull a baler. I managed just fine my 1st year with 110hp and the 4 years after just fine with 125hp.

Ran 1 of mine on a turbo 3050 JD for several years and it was ok the other was pulled by 4755 JD and could go half as fast again and get much much better weights per bale.
