HH Meters - good or bad

I am trying to work out if its worth exporting the spare power we make from PV

it looks like I will need a new meter if I want this which will mean the import is changed too.

suppliers have a habit of being a pain and seeing perfectly usable old meters as outdated and force new ones upon us.

we are quite happy as we are.

should I be worried about a HH meter? what do I need to know about them, from what I have heard there are more trouble and I should be grateful for what I have!

Way back on BFF, I was advised to make sure the import was only NHH when I got an export meter. I had to repeat the instruction several times but it got done. The supplier/DNO also rated the import at the export capacity which changed one of the MPAN digits and made it appear like industrial so hard to get sensible import quotes. Something like an 06 instead of an 02.

The meter itself came from WPD and they/it have been no problem. Outright purchase.
