HIGH HOURED MASSEY VT

hi just wondering if anyone runs a high houred 7618 vt iam currently looking at one with 8500hrs had new brakes at main dealer last week seems pretty tidy also i managed to speak to old owner and its driver done most of its hours on hedge cutter and umbilical all in all seems pretty good just worrying about the hours and if there is something i should be looking for cheers

One main driver, tidy condition, done a lot of hedge cutting, these are all positives, get it bought if handy money.

Everything thing seems perfect really just hours forgot to say it ploughed 100 acre a year and did a bit of round baling aswell but it really does seem tidy

they didn’t fail they said they were going to adjust them but when they looked they we’re not very good so they put new in

I would have thought a Dyna VT one should be OK , engine will have the water leaks the get , Add blue problems, front diff should be ok if it has not done a lot of road work with a lot of weight on the front, what age & hours on it ?

Dyna VT do not need brake's put in them as a rule, unless the handbrake has been sticking on

The previous owner did Actually say that the Only real issue they did ever have was the handbrake stuck on on one side due to the linkage seizing but they freed it off and its never been a problem

That’s why the brakes were done then. Brakes need to be adjusted regularly aswell if they’re used s lot to keep pedsl travel to a minimum as if you have a long pedal the cardan brake (front axle prop) brakes first and does’t last! Now that’s not a nice job!!!!

What kind of money is in that 27 to 30k

No 35k I can’t find anything cheaper plus there giving me a good price for my trade in

That is a big price for a tractor that age, but if you think it is a good deal then that is all that matters
For 10k more you could have a 7720 Dyna vt with 4500hours on it
