We did a BBC documentary with George Alagiah years ago and I deliberately didn’t dress up. I look quite rough however unfortunately the program is or was used as part of the Geography O level syllabus and my kids at quite a posh school were very embarrassed by their yokel father.

For those of you that don’t follow AJD or driver farms. I strongly suggest you do. You may not agree with him (that’s not his aim) . You may have different land to him. You may have different ideas to him. However , he is 100% honest if treated with respect. He will happily talk about what he is doing right and what he is doing wrong. He will happily say he is learning. Sadly too many see this as arrogance or privilege . Stop read again and then again. Ask questions and listen. If you don’t agree, don’t get offended. Ask why? Learn. We have been farming for 5000 years an no one has got it right yet 100%. The massive benefit of social media is the joy to question and discuss. Let’s not forget this. @ajd132 is just one of many that are happy to say and be asked why?
He's so heroic. 😍 Whenever I read his about his awesome efforts sowing 25,000 acres using only 50 litres of diesel, for some reason the Top Gun theme starts playing in my head.............
