High water tank stop valve

Have a water tank up high for adding water to the wagon, trying to find a stop valve with a pull cord to open and close it from the ground
Any one have these or any other ideas?

High level molasses tanks used to have a tanker gate valve oprated from ground level.

Also seen a flexible pipe hoisted up with a rope do the same job.

Was going to say a large ball valve with two ropes, pull one to open and pull the second to close. But as @eulb idea, a length of layflat hose would do the job and be as cheap as chips

On our old molasses tank we just had a gate valve and bolted a bit of bar to the handle so it hung down and you could just push or pull to open/close
