Highland bullock value

There's some 12mth old Highland bullocks for sale locally and I'm wanting to buy the kids one each as when I was young we always had a few Highlands running about with the suckler herd and it brings back happy memories for me but I have no idea what they are worth ! Don't want to offend the guy and also don't want to pay a fortune for what are ornaments !

I’d be thinking what it would be worth to me in a year and a bit when it’s ready to put in my freezer.

I would have to buy some heifers just in case you end up having to keep them. If someone offers me their prize odd ball breed of animal to buy I just direct them towards the market. I have always struggled to buy them from them at home from a commercial price point

We used to sell pure 12 month old Highland steers to Lundy Island for £350 if that helps.
