Hole in E2 KRM Vanes

Hole at back of vane. Can I just fill hole up as it isn’t the vane part that spreads it? Weld or resin, suggestions please.

we bought some E6 ones last year, they were around the £500 mark, from memory.. got a price from KRM to start with, then called 3 dealer and all within £5 of what krm said they would be.
